Only Absences Are Waived off

When you apply a waiver on a day, only the absences on that day are removed from your attendance record. Any present classes on the same day are kept and still count in your favour.

Example: Say a day has P(Th) and A(Th) — 1 present and 1 absent.

33% Per-Component Cap

For each subject, waivers cannot exceed one-third (33%) of the total classes in any single component — Theory, Tutorial, and Practical

The limit is calculated as ⌈ Total Classes ÷ 3 ⌉ (rounded up).

⚠️ Ambiguity Note: Recent college guidelines mention "33% of attended classes," but this was not enforced in any previous semester. Hence, this model follows the 33% of total classes rule.

⚠️ Disclaimer: There is always a gap of few classes from the day we submit our waivers and session end date hence expect ±4 marks (if you miss some classes in the last week).
